My name is Cindy and I have a passion for good tales. When I was little, I frequently got in trouble for staying up past bedtime, reading books by the soft glow of my night light. Things haven’t changed much, only now I can use my Kindle to pursue literary adventures late into the night. I am a wife and mother of two (almost three!) little ones who keep me busy in our Colorado home.
A life-long lover of reading, I have been reviewing books for over 5 years. I know what readers like, what makes sense in a story and what doesn’t. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology from Brigham Young University with a minor in Italian. I am familiar with Chicago Manual of Style 16th edition and refer to it for all style preferences. I am the novel copyeditor at SNM Horror Magazine and an ambassador for Novel Blogs.
My favorite aspect of freelance editing is meeting and working with wonderful authors. Each story is unique and presents different editing challenges. I understand how hard you've worked to nurture your story, from a budding idea to full-length novel, and will treat your work with the care and respect it deserves.
